Logistics Planning Manager - DEPCOM Power

DEPCOM is looking for an experienced Logistics Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain team . The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. This role involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The Logistic Planning Manager works closely with various internal departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to streamline logistics processes and enhance overall operational performance. This role is preferably located in the Scottsdale office, with travel to the sites as needed. Open to remote work with 50% travel to the sites and the Scottsdale office.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement logistics planning strategies that create value and align with the overarching business objectives, fostering long-term growth and sustainability.
• Oversee daily logistics operations with a focus on optimizing transportation planning, route efficiency, and load scheduling to drive operational excellence and value creation.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers and distribution centers, prioritizing reliability and customer satisfaction as key drivers of business success.
• Implement best practices in logistics planning to uphold high standards of operational excellence and continuous value creation.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of logistics planning systems to support effective decision-making and enhance operational capabilities.
• Leverage technology to enhance logistics visibility, tracking, and reporting, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all logistics systems, supporting reliable and value-oriented operations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics activities to safeguard and enhance the organization's value proposition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize logistics activities with the overall supply chain strategy, promoting a unified approach and enhanced collaboration.
• Design project site laydown areas and manage material flow to optimize on-site logistics and ensure efficient material handling.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement and align activities with business goals.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Leadership experience in Logistics, Planning and Continuous improvement.
• Experience designing and implementing standardized processes for Logistics Planning.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

What Will Put You Ahead

• EPC or renewable energy industry experience.
• Experience launching a software system in the warehouse and inventory control environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in material handling and equipment operations.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using logistics software.

For this role, we anticipate paying $110,000- $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
