Job Summary
The Logistics Section Positions at Chloeta fulfill a variety of roles within disaster response. Representative roles may include: Supply Unit Leader, Food Unit Leader, Services Branch Director, Support Branch Director, Medical Unit Leader, Facilities Unit Leader or Ground Support Unit Leader. These positions require field deployment of up to thirty (30) days and may be working and/or lodged in a relatively austere environment.

Compensation: Will be provided prior to accepting an assignment; based on client budget.
Duties/Responsibilities
The Logistics Section manages facilities, transportation, communications, supplies, equipment maintenance and fueling, food and medical services, and off-incident resources.
The Logistics Section manages all incident logistics and provides logistical input to the IAP.
The Logistics Section advises the Incident Commander (IC), Site Manager or Site Lead on all matters relating to logistics planning, facilities, communications, ordering, receipt, storage, transport, and onward movement of goods, services, and personnel.
The Logistics Section aims to provide support in a timely and courteous way.
Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Experience in field deployments of incidents/disasters
Demonstrated working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS)
Education and Experience
- Required: ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800
- Preferred: All-Hazards Position Specific Training or Experience
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
Will be lodged in hotels where feasible but may be lodged in a mass sleeping environment (i.e. gymnasium with cots) and subject to incident catering or Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) for sustenance.
