Description:
The Logistics team is responsible for managing the movement of products between our warehouse and our retail locations. Our job is to create the manifests that allow our drivers to compliantly transport cannabis in all the forms Nectar offers. We serve as the final quality control team; we make sure that all products are properly represented physically, as well as across Metrc and Dutchie POS. As a logistics specialist, you will be cross-trained to understand the life cycle of product movement: from intake to store delivery. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Excel, basic math skills, exceptional organization, and communication skills, and be extremely detail oriented.
Logistics Responsibilities:
- Creating delivery manifests and cover sheets for scheduled deliveries.
- Prepare manifests before delivery to stay within compliance.
- Execute quality control procedures to ensure that the physical product matches the digital product.
- Prepare emergency delivery manifests for stores that need specific products.
- Coordinate item pullbacks from the stores requested by Product Control or Purchasing.
- Maintain the organization of files on both your computer and OneDrive.
Requirements:
- Able and willing to stand for 8+ hours/daily.
- Able to repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds.
- Be able to work as a team and by oneself to accomplish daily duties.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google worksheets.
- Must be willing to work weekends, if needed,
- Must have a reliable method of transportation to get to work.
- Must possess a Marijuana Workers Permit or ability to obtain one at own expense.
Desired Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of all applicable state and local cannabis regulations.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Must be detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, and self-motivated to utilize resources to troubleshoot as needed.
- Strong analytical skill set, detail-oriented, and superior problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
- Strong proofreading skills along with excellent communication and written capabilities.
- Must be quality-oriented and possess the ability to consistently maintain an exceptional level of attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- METRC and/or Dutchie POS experience, or other software experience with inventory management or POS systems.
- Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

- Compensation for this role will vary depending on the candidate’s level of experience.
