Job title: Logistics Specialist
Job Summary The candidate will work as a Logistics Specialist supporting the brokerage operations team by managing track and trace functions for customers. Responsibilities include order entry, routing and dispatching loads, traffic coordination, maintaining customer profiles, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
Logistics experience (minimum 1 year)
General knowledge of the transportation industry
Experience in order entry, routing, and dispatching
Familiarity with track and trace functions in a brokerage environment
Preferred Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
Skill Education
Logistics: Involves managing the flow of goods from origin to consumption to meet customer requirements.
Order Entry: The process of recording orders into a company's system.
Routing: Determining the optimal paths for transportation.
Dispatching: Assigning drivers or vehicles for service requests.
Track and Trace: Monitoring the progress of shipments through various stages until delivery.
Requirements
-HS Diploma/GED
-Experience related to the role directly is a plus, but not a must
-Team player and quality characteristics
-Required to show up on time and work when scheduled
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
