Unimacts is on a search for Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Las Vegas. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Plant Logistics Manager, offers the opportunity to orchestrate the storage and distribution of goods, revolutionize local transport coordination, and oversee comprehensive inventory management. Your Mission: Streamlining and Enhancing the Logistics Lifecycle
As our Logistics Supervisor, you will be at the helm of our logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer accurance operations. You will be the driving force behind the entire order cycle, crafting strategies that bolster business growth, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Lead and support logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer assurance.
- Full Order Cycle Management: Direct, optimize, and coordinate every stage of the order process.
- Collaboration and Negotiation: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
- Quality and Efficiency Tracking: Monitor key metrics like quality, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Inventory Mastery: Maintain meticulous inventory records for raw materials, finished products, and scrap, utilizing a FIFO system, oversees the daily cycle count and monthly physical counts of finished goods, work in process and raw material.
- Warehouse Coordination: Organize warehouse space, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the preventative maintenance of forklifts and conduct forklift training.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Communication and Reporting: Manage daily reports and maintain open lines of communication with management.
- Performance Goals: Meet targets in cost, productivity, inventory accuracy, and timeliness.
- Data Analysis: Maintain metrics and utilize data analysis to drive performance improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of logistics or supply chain experience with a proven track record.
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems (D365 experience a plus).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Independence and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Bilingual abilities in English are a significant plus.
