Overview:
Work with a dedicated team to provide turn-key ready ambulances providing support with equipment management, required ambulance inventory, pharmacy regulation and management
Each Logistics Technician performs a variety of activities related to cleaning and stocking ambulances and other company vehicles at Albuquerque Ambulance Service.

Shift Differentials
$1.75/hr Night Differential, earned on eligible night hours, stacks on base rate
$1.50/hr Weekend Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rate
Shift Schedules
Days 0530-1600
Swings 1300-2330
Nights 1930-0600

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required.
Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated and organized.
Current NM EMT-Basic License or completion of the course is preferred.
Specialized short-term training in Stocking practices required within nine (9) months of start date.
Current valid full New Mexico driver's license is required.
Ability to type 20 wpm preferred.
Basic MS Windows computer skills preferred
Responsibilities:
Wash, vacuum, clean and waxes ambulance and service vehicles according to maintenance schedules
Cleans and inspects the outside of AAS vehicles using the cleaning agents provided in accordance with OSHA usage and guidelines for said agents.
Obtain certification to operate Bioquell system within three (3) months of hire.
Reports any new damage or other problems, including potential safety hazards noted upon inspection to the Supervisor or their designee.
May check and verify appropriate fluid levels of during daily cleaning and inspections.
Cleans and inspects the emergency warning lights and siren horns, turn signals, engine belts, tires, batteries, headlights, and related equipment daily or as assigned by the Fleet Operations Manager.
Responsible for maintaining inventory and assuring cost control through proper utilization and tracking of all supplies used by field staff.
Oversees compliance to required check out and check in procedures, including logging all stock use via company specific computer scanning system.
Provides weekly inventory for ordering of supplies, and provides oversight of fluctuations in standard usage models to guarantee adequate par levels for patient care.
Responsible for maintenance, cleaning and functionality check of all equipment, including but not limited to pulse oximetry, cardiac monitors, computer laptops, monitor and gurney batteries, portable suction units, and IV pumps
Includes use of CDC compliance cleaners and disinfectants to meet OSHA standards in addressing all potential biohazards.
Performs scheduled and random audits of drug boxes to ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations
Documents rotation, replacement and proper expiration control of all pharmaceuticals including narcotics
Requires knowledge and competency in of the McKesson Narcstation for the check-in and out process of Narcotics, perform audits, and preform refills for used narcotics.
