Loss Control Specialist - Insurance - Base Salary to 80k/year - West Palm Beach, FL

• Our client has partnered with Palm Beach country to provide a full-time on-site Loss Control Specialist. This opportunity offers valuable exposure to the county's operations, enabling hands-on learning and the ability to make a meaningful impact across various programs. Palm Beach County is open to working with junior level candidates who are entering the field, making this an excellent entry point for someone eager to develop their skills in risk management and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administering, monitoring, and evaluating total loss control programs for a group of County departments.
• Identifying existing or potential exposures
• Recommending alternative courses of action
• Ensuring that corrective action is completed in all areas of loss control. These areas include but may not be limited to occupational safety, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials storage and disposal, indoor air quality, vehicle safety, and asbestos management

Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in loss/risk control or occupational safety & health management.
• Open to junior candidates who are looking to enter this field. Will provide training!

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 65k - 80k/year range.
• Full benefits package including health, vision, dental Insurance, 401k, Paid Holidays, PTO, etc.
• In-office role with travel around Palm Beach County.
