As a Retail Loss Prevention Dock Guard, you will use your experience in loss prevention to reduce profitability losses due to theft or incorrect business procedures in a dynamic retail environment. Job Responsibilities
As a Retail Loss Prevention Dock Guard, you will perform loss prevention as part of the retail operations team. You will be responsible for guarding, patrolling, and monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
Additional responsibilities of the Retail Loss Prevention Dock Guard include:
• Provide the necessary support for customer service and customer pick up procedures
• Control losses and reduce shrinkage through policy enforcement.
• Enforce Customer pick-up procedures
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures
• Perform coworker and safety audits
• Check merchandise transfers
• Store perimeter checks
• Trailer checks
• Monitor alarms
• Control security sensitive items
Job Requirements
Successful candidates for the Retail Loss Prevention Dock Guard role should have effective communication skills and the interpersonal skills required to work with customers, management, and coworkers. Someone who has strong analytical and problem solving skills and is looking for a challenging opportunity working in a dynamic retail environment would be a good fit for this retail operations role.

• Experience in retail loss prevention, health, fire and safety procedures preferred.
