Lounge Server

Summary
To provide a friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests while presenting them with amazing food and drink. Bar servers must simply WOW the guests.
Principal Activities & Responsibilities
- Know our product menu
- Collect money for drinks and food served
- Check identification of customers to verify age
- Clean glasses, utensils, equipment, tables, condiments & section organized
- Greet guests within 30 seconds after the moment they walk in the lounge
- Take beverage and food orders from guests
- Serve wine, mixed drinks, bottled beer and draught beer
- Clean work areas, tables and pre-bus tables
- Answer questions about our food and beverages
- Serve beverage and food items to customers
- Complete opening and closing check-lists
- Perform side work during and after shift
- Ensure guests are satisfied with food and service
- Be prepared to run food from expo to bar or restaurant
- Restock and make sure bar stations are stocked adequately for shifts
- Limit problems related to customers excessive drinking
- Balance cash receipts and turn in properly owed money
- Attends all scheduled meetings
- Notify management any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience
Job Requirements
- Must be the minimum age of 21
- Ability to memorize and learn drink and food recipes and sell our product
- Ability to work under stressful situations
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to handle money and work on a POS system
- Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Ability to work with Team Members without judgement or criticism.
- Experience in a bar setting is required (beer, liquor and wine knowledge)
- Must be knowledgeable of our products
Level of Authority & Restrictions
- No supervisory authority
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds
- Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of times
Working Conditions & Environment
- Must be able to handle high volume
- Must be able to maintain a high level of sanitation/cleanliness in area
- Is required to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed
Mandatory Requirements
- Must obtain MAST and food workers permit
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to read recipe book and follow instructions
- Maintain a clean uniform
