About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Fiber Cable Puller/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, terminating, and maintaining low voltage fiber optic cabling systems. You will work closely with project managers and other technicians to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cable Installation: Pull and route low voltage fiber optic cables in various environments, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Termination and Testing: Terminate fiber optic cables using appropriate techniques and tools, and conduct tests to verify connectivity and performance.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for cable installation and testing.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation layouts, test results, and material usage.
- Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to fiber optic systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Physical Requirements:
