Low Voltage Sales Consultant (Remote/Hybrid)
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Consultant with expertise in the low voltage industry to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of AV and access control, manage client relationships, and drive new business opportunities. - Identify and target new clients through networking, cold calling, and strategic outreach initiatives, focusing on construction, multi-family, IT centers, and security systems.
- Act as a strategic relationship partner and business developer, focused on increasing market share through identifying and securing new sales from competitively held target accounts, new opportunities and assigned existing account new business
- Develop effective strategies for managing and growing revenue by executing a business plan that ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and actively following up with leads and customers.
- Report to and collaborate with the Director of Operations, the internal team, and subcontractors to implement, design, and manage customized solutions that align with client objectives.
- Network on and offline with company decision-makers and industry professionals to increase brand visibility, generate new business opportunities, and foster valuable partnerships that drive growth and innovation.
- Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure seamless service integration and continued satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and experience in the low voltage industry with AV and access control knowledge. A sales background in multi-family properties and construction works well too.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in balancing sales and marketing pipeline activities, prospecting, and lead generation, with a proven track record of achieving goals.
- Existing book of business in the construction industry or related sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and resilient, comfortable with handling rejections and persistent in pursuing opportunities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM software is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, listening, presentation, and upselling skills.
Pay, Benefits, and Perks
- Negotiable, competitive salary (estimated yearly salary DOE $55,000 - $65,000) plus uncapped commission plan on all new contracts.
