Job Description:
The Loyalty Marketing Specialist is responsible for campaign execution through owned channels for RaceTrac Rewards members. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Loyalty & CRM and will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create, test, and deploy campaigns in owned digital channels.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as the RaceTrac Rewards program and campaign administrator and is responsible for implementing core program changes and executing campaigns that will activate, grow, retain our members
- Assists in ideating and owns the scheduling and deploying of owned campaigns that will leverage consumer data to increase brand loyalty and purchase frequency
- Owns the marketing calendar and project management for owned channels and ensures on-time and accurate deployments for all Promotions, RaceTrac Rewards and Brand campaigns.
- Co-leads and manages the development and execution of loyalty campaigns through owned channels, initiatives and updates including CRM (email, push, rich messaging, SMS, etc.), website and mobile app.
- Partners with Brand Manager and Promotions Manager to align marketing campaigns against priorities/brand content for all owned channels and to tell the brand story in a digital environment
- Manages ongoing loyalty offer deployment coordination, aligning with brand strategy goals and objectives to drive sales, customer retention, frequency, and customer life-time value.
- Acts as Quality Assurance lead on loyalty marketing, offers and promotions
- Partners closely with IS business partners on any new campaign and/or core program functionality and updates
- Reviews creative and acts as subject matter expert with channel best practices, brand guidelines and customer journey paths to mitigate potential issues for the customer experience
- Proactively recommends optimizations and enhancements to testing plans, segmentation, creative and templates that positively impact the customer experience and business performance
- Collaborates with internal Analytics/Insights teams to establish success metrics for campaigns and to determine the impact loyalty marketing tactics have on strategic initiatives
- Assists in pulling weekly/monthly and ad-hoc reporting for loyalty and campaigns and deeper analytics in partnership with marketing analytics, as needed.
- Acts as the liaison between the guest engagement team to ensure guest feedback is received and issues resolved related to the loyalty program and/or loyalty marketing campaigns.
- Administers loyalty program mechanics and program oversight within the loyalty platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year College or University in Marketing or equivalent experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience in the marketing function of a brand-driven company; marketing agency experience a plus.
- Familiarity with channel marketing best practices (ie. email, mobile, web).
- Experience implementing omnichannel campaigns in loyalty/CRM/customer engagement platforms or other content or offer management platforms.
- Proven project management experience, along with the ability to manage multiple projects during any given time
- Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to identify, build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
