LPN: 3-11pm & 11-7pm FT/PT with Daily pay access! - Avante At Ocala

Avante at Ocala Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking caring, patient-focused Licensed Practicial Nurses! The ideal candidate would be passionate about helping others, have a positive attitude, and be a dedicated team-player.

The LPN will supervise the day-today nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. LPN charge nurses are to exercise supervisory authority even at times that RNs are on duty and must exercise discretion and independent judgment to ensure proper discipline and productivity. 

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

• Must be 18 years of age

• Completion of secondary education or otherwise show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner.

• Must speak and understand English

• Must be able to supervise and instruct others.

• Previous supervisory experience or completion of appropriate training program, or as required by state law.

• Must maintain current CPR certification

• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
