About Cardiac Stepdown!
We have THREE units that encompass our Cardiac Stepdowns. This includes: Medical Progressive Care (MPCU), Cardiac Progressive Care (CPCU) and Telemetry2 (Tele2).
CPCU and MPCU have 32 beds each. Tele2 has 18 beds.
These departments see patients that are not quite sick enough for an ICU, but require closer monitoring and are too sick for a General Med Tele Floor. Most patients are admitted from the Emergency Department, and are typically in our care for congestive heart failure, chest pain, high oxygen needs, post-cath lab procedure monitoring and cardiac surgical (SPCU) overflow.
Available Shifts (Three 12s): Nights (7:00pm-7:30am)
*Weekend Option (Days or Nights) also available! Standard Weekend Option includes Fri-Sun (Part-Time or Full-Time). We also have Flexible Weekend Options, which allow you to work three weekends per month and still get Weekend Premium Pay!
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Must have either a current Licensed Practical Nurse Temporary Permit/LPN license in the State of Missouri
- Certifications: Must be certified in IV therapy.
We Offer Great Benefits:
Day-one comprehensive health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement and employer-matched retirement funds are just a few of the great benefits offered to eligible co-workers, including those working 32 hours or more per pay period!
