The Field Manager manages all aspects of the coordination of home care services- overseeing Caregivers and their Clients and documents all interaction according to internal, federal, and state regulations.
Scheduling:
- Coordinates scheduling adjustments with Care Coordinator
- Tracks caregivers' availability & plans the schedules accordingly with Care Coordinator
- Ensures employees are clocking in and out and troubleshoots any issues
- Resolves scheduling conflicts as they occur (all schedule changes must be approved by Care Coordinator)
- Serves as the first back up person to fill in houses when there is a hole
- Coordinate emergency staffing issues such a no-shows
Customer Service:
- Ensures quality service and client satisfaction
- Ensures a pleasant employee experience
- Serves as a leader for the caregiving team
- Ensures the highest standard of care
- Maintains confidentiality and respect for HIPAA compliance
Administrative Compliance:
- Adheres to strict internal policies and procedures, as well as state mandated laws.
- Takes direction from Care Coordinator on all compliance needs, including but not limited to:
- In-Home Trainings/CPOC Tests
- Unannounced Visits
- Quarterlies (split)
- Compliance Spreadsheet Entries
- Assists with mapping when needed
- Assists with office clerical work, filing, answering phones, other office duties etc. as needed and assigned.
Training:
- Troubleshoots caregiver app issues with the caregiving teams
- Reviews the client's plan of care with each new Caregiver, and then completes in-home training on-site in the client's home, which may include family guidelines, specific emergency protocol, and hands-on experience with the plan of care.
On-Call:
- Responsible for handling after hours calls regarding non-emergent issues relating to but not limited to:
- Staffing
- No Data Calls/PA Issues
- LaSRS and Highflyer Help
- Will loop in Care Coordinator for any emergency calls
- Non-emergent calls can be answered and handled during business hours
- Emergent calls must be answered and handled right away

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma; 4-year college degree or associates preferred
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- 3+ Years experience in healthcare, special education, or caregiving is a plus
Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- Pass a state mandated background check
- Pass a motor vehicle record check
- Valid Driver's License & current automotive insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to complete/pass all training requirements that are state-mandated, including but not limited to:
- Basic First Aid training
- 16 Hours of medication administration training
- 16 Hours of DSW training
- Continuing education
- All staff shall have the ability to read and write at a level that allows them to understand the client's services plan, document services provided, and carry out directions competently as assigned.
- Administrative staff must be able to prioritize the safety of clients over personal schedules. For example: securing shelter for a client before personally evacuating for a hurricane, etc.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb one flight of stairs and enter various client homes that may or may not be handicap accessible.
- Ability to drive and visit client homes throughout the week
