Effective Pay Rate
When you work at SwiftShift, you are paid per your Effective Pay Rate. Effective Pay Rate has 4 major components:
Service Pay - This is the rate paid to you for delivering in-home services to the client.
Client Support Pay - This is the rate paid to you for supporting clients within your team.
Service Continuity Pay - This is the pay that is paid to every employee for every 500 hours of in-home services delivered.
Weekly Team Pay = This is the pay that is paid to every member of the care team who has delivered 30 or more hours of in-home services without any overtime.

Client Story
Lukas is a 5-year old boy diagnosed with Chronic Kidney diseaseCerebral Palsy and Developmental delay. He is non-verbal and needs assistance with his mobility. He weighs 48lbs. He needs nurses on either Saturday or Sunday from 10 AM to 11PM and evening shifts on weekdays from 3 PM to 11 PM with flexible hours arrangement with his mom. This is a school and house case. He has on going summer class until August and will start next school year on September. He loves to be active, he wants to go outside to play if the weather is good and/or has playroom inside the house under strict monitoring due to high risk of fall. He has different types of mobility aids such as crutches, sticks, walker, and bike to keep him going. The nurse will assist his hydration and nutrition with G-tube feeding 2-3 feeds per day, can take food orally under strict supervision, and to administer medications. He's on diaper and can be potty trained. The nurse also help him transfer from home via ramp to the bus with wheelchair and assistive device. He has siblings and pets as well as stairs at home.
