Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our network of healthcare professionals. As an LPN contracted through Alto Health Care Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, clinics, and more. This flexible role offers the freedom to choose your assignments based on your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and competent nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or other healthcare providers.
Perform routine nursing tasks, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, dressing wounds, and assisting with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring individualized and holistic care delivery.
Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
Current and valid Practical Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience as an LPN in a relevant healthcare setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be preferred depending on assignment requirements.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform nursing tasks with precision and efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
Flexibility to adapt to new environments and work schedules as needed.
