Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
Assist in patient assessments and the development of care plans.
Perform wound care and ensure proper dressing changes.
Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date clinical records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures and self-care tasks.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN licensure.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles and clinical procedures.
Experience in administering medications and performing clinical tasks in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and recognizing abnormal findings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality regulations.
Capability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Basic computer skills for clinical documentation and electronic health record management.
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinical priorities.
