LSW/LMSW/LAC – Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Associate Counselor needed for a Corrections assignment in Colorado:
- Location(s): Canon City, Pueblo, Sterling, Denver
- Unit(s): Corrections, Mental Health, Drug and Addiction
- 13-week contract to start (with the option to extend)
- Day Shifts | Mon-Fri.
- 40 hours per week
LSW/LMSW/LAC – Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Associate Counselor Job Details:
- Conduct mental health assessments, develop and execute treatment plans, document progress notes.
- Coordinate treatment goals and services.
- Facilitates 1:1 individual and group mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff.
- Provide clinical support.
- Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V criteria.
LSW/LMSW/LAC – Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Associate Counselor Qualifications:
- Active CO License as one (1) of the following: Licensed Medical Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- 2 Years of mental health experience; corrections, forensics, and/or drug and addiction counseling experience preferred.
- M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Social Work, counseling, Psychology, or similar.
LSW/LMSW/LAC – Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Associate Counselor Pay:
- Gross weekly pay based on 40 hours: $2,400 - $2,766
