Lubricant Driver, - Rockford, IL (Monday - Friday, Home Nightly) - Class B - Rainbo Oil

This position will be a combination of driving and warehouse support to offer variety in your day! The time in the warehouse will be spent loading trucks, receiving deliveries, monitoring inventory, and completing paperwork accurately and timely.

General Description

Responsible for safely delivering lubricants to various customers.

Duties

• Transport Lubes by tote, drum, or case goods.
• Deliveries include pumping of product from/to a tote, drum or tank.
• Safely drive the truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads.
• Check loads to ensure the product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner.
• Verify directions with operations manager or customer service before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site.
• Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives.
• Develop extensive working relationships with customers, both external and internal, in order to maximize opportunities and to ensure customer needs are addressed.
• Keep equipment in an acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights brakes, gas, fuel, oil, and water.
• May perform minor roadside repairs, such as installing light bulbs.
• Maintain good working knowledge of the traffic routes of the area.
• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
• Lifting, pushing, and rolling up to 120 pounds with the assistance of equipment.

Education

• Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
• Tanker Endorsement recommended
• High school diploma or GED required
