Under the direction of the Lead Driver and/or Supervisor conducts durability-driving test per customer test specification to ensure the durability of the customer’s worldwide products. Performs total vehicle durability road and function testing as well as provides documented feedback. Represents Bertrandt in a professional manner at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Drive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures.
- Prepare accurate Drivers Reports on a daily basis.
- Perform other related driving / vehicle preparation work as required. Such work includes vehicle shuttling, detailing, etc.
- Assists with clerical work or other jobs as required by Supervision.
- Follow policies and procedures of both Bertrandt Engineering.
- Act as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so.

- Communication skills, verbal and written, are a priority
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Four (4) years licensed driving experience.
- Must possess certified driving record(s) from California and/or other state(s) of residence during the previous 60 month period, with no more than 2 moving violations.
- Driving record can be no more than 15 days old.
- Knowledge of vehicle components, systems, and operating procedures.
- Salary $17.00 (1st shift)-$17.85 (2nd shift)
