Luxury Furniture Sales Consultant - TLNT

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, providing a warm and professional atmosphere.
• Assist customers in exploring and experiencing the collections, offering product knowledge and guidance.
• Actively engage with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to recommend suitable solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
• Collaborate with the team to process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Provide support for showroom events, including new collection launches, designer collaborations, and seasonal sales and promotional activities.
• Stay up to date with the latest designs, trends, and product features to effectively communicate with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in managing showroom inventory including samples and marketing materials by monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment as needed.
• Identify and reach out to potential clients through targeted outreach, networking events, and trade shows to expand the customer base and drive sales growth.
• Regularly visit clients at their offices, provide personalized service, address their needs, and attend industry events to strengthen relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the showroom.

What You Need

• Ability to work both inside (70%) and outside (30%) of the showroom to service customers; 40 hours/5 days per week, including weekends
• Previous experience in a showroom/retail sales environment, preferably in the luxury or furniture industry.
• Passion for outdoor furniture and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and/or during special events as required.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Salary & Benefits

• Location: On-Site in New York City, NY.
• Base salary range of $50k-$60k annually plus commissions and bonuses (OTE: $140k-$160k)

Breakdown of comps

• Avg commission is 5% on all shipped sales.
• Bonus - 1% for hitting quarterly target ($10k / year)
• Bonus - 1% of sales for getting yearly target ($10k)
• Bonus - 0.5% of showroom sales if showroom hits it's goal ($10k)
• Bonus - Company ($1500).
