LVN - Employee Health Services - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days at John Muir Health

Job Description:

The LVN - Employee Health Vocational Nurse manages the immunization and surveillance process, and provides health education and guidance to the employees, employment candidates, volunteers and physicians of John Muir Health (JMH). He/She provides assistance in exposure management and in the investigation and prevention of injuries and illnesses. The person in this role is responsible for the employee health surveillance data and reviews all medical information to ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, OSHA regulations, CDC recommendations, and the policies of John Muir Health. The LVN - Employee Health Vocational Nurse collaborates with the Employee Health Management Director, Occupational Health Nurse Coordinator, and Workers' Compensation Specialists to evaluate, plan, and provide programs and services.

Experience:

• 2 years Nursing - LVN/LPN in Occupational/employee health setting - Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

• LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse - California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians - Required

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

• California Driver's License - Proof of Good Driving Record and current Car Insurance - Required

Skills:

• Ability to function independently and within a team with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent judgment, attention to process and detail.

• Prefer knowledge of the Joint Commission, California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation standards for Employee Health Services.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).

$36.93 - $49.85
