Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient wellness and recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a staffing or recruiting capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of patient care standards and clinical procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
