Job Title:Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Associate
Location:(Hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days in office)

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handle a wide range of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.
- Conduct due diligence, draft and negotiate purchase agreements, and assist with the structuring of transactions.
- Provide strategic counsel to corporate clients on M&A deals, including public and private transactions.
- Collaborate with other attorneys across the firm in areas such as tax, finance, and real estate to provide comprehensive client solutions.
- Assist in advising clients on corporate governance and compliance matters related to M&A.
- Participate in client meetings and manage multiple projects concurrently.
**Qualifications:**
- 2-4 years of experience in M&A, corporate transactions, or a related practice area (experience level determines salary).
- JD from an accredited law school; top law school is a plus, but not required.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
- Base salary starting at $145K for first-year associates (commensurate with experience).
- 1,750 billable hours requirement.
- Discretionary bonus.
- Hybrid work model: 2 days remote per week.
