Summary
The Parts Shipper will perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment. Manage verification, acceptance, counting, and inputting into ERP system of all incoming goods and their condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- 1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members.
- Follows all safety guidelines and rules; environmental and regulatory guidelines; uses all required safety equipment and PPE
- Proactively promotes The McWane Way principles.
- Maintains quality and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
- Loads and unloads trailers as required.
- Ships finished goods and verifies documentation with each shipment.
- Moves stock to appropriate warehouse locations and documents accordingly.
- Rearranges stock as required.
- Performs staging of raw materials and rework for production.
- Performs quality control check on products.
- Stages finished goods from production for shipment.
- Reports inventory levels on raw materials.

QualificationsQualifications

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment
- High attention to internal and external customer needs
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract and to multiply and divide. Uses mathematics to solve problems.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
