We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to collaborate with and support our newly formed data science team. This position will play a critical role in helping us deliver the desired business value using the most up-to-date machine learning methods and ensure that our models are in production and meeting the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product team to integrate machine learning models into our products and services
- Collaborate with the data science team to understand business problems and translate them into technical requirements
- Implement machine learning pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment
- Create and maintain a monitoring solution and optimize machine learning for scalability
- Collaborate with data science team to improve model performance for training and deployment
- Ensure that machine learning models are deployed and maintained in a production environment
- Develop and implement best practices for machine learning operations
- Document machine learning processes and output
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our machine learning capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, information systems, or mathematics
- Experience in machine learning engineering
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Fivetran, DBT)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of infrastructure needed for building and adoption of Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Unsupervised Modeling, and A/B testing.
- Experience using machine learning libraries or platforms, including Torch, Tensorflow, Caffe, Theanos, Scikit-Learn, or ML Lib for production or commercial products preferred.
- Proficiency in a data query language (e.g. SQL), and a programming language (e.g. Python).
- Experience with big data technologies like Spark, or similar.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $100,100 -- $242,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
