Job Description:
_The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals ._
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate assigned equipment
+ Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
+ Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
+ Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
+ Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
+ Able to work effectively within small teams
+ Accurately complete scrap tickets
+ Accurately complete daily production sheet
+ Accurately update hourly goal board
+ Maintain production pace and standards
+ Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
+ Practice 5Ss
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
+ Basic math skills
+ Basic mechanical skills
+ Basic computer skills
Education and Experience Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 1-2 years of machine operation experience
