THE MISSION:

The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting the achievement of SetterStix’s business objectives by:

• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

• Analyze and correct more difficult quality and machine problems that require a higher degree of diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems that impact machine and quality operations.

• Troubleshoot and take proper corrective actions to repair or correct any product defect problems that arise.

• Perform machine changeovers.

• Train prospective & existing Machine Operators & Back-ups

• Change out or perform repairs & adjustment to equipment as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years’ experience as a Machine Operator.

• Certification or credential in related fields from local career & technology center and/or local technical college is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job.

• Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

• Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.
