Machine Operator-2nd shift (AU#334021) - Barton Staffing Solutions

Follow all applicable sop’s (standard operating procedures). 

Receive job ticket and examine proof. 

Read and understand job ticket.  

Use caliper to measure vertical and horizontal compliance with the standard based on the measurement of the oakwood mark. 

Able to sustain consistent production

Receives sign off or approval from supervisor or cutting lead person before running the job. 

Run job and Inspect cards while running for accuracy of dimensions, smooth cutting edge, and location of magnetic strip. 

Stop the job in the event of a major technical problem (i.e. fuzz, rough edge) with cutting. 

Follow good ergonomic practices when lifting, fanning and moving sheets.  Take special care to avoid dragging sheets, which cause scratches and other defects. 

Move finished job to next department after clearing the job out of the area in accordance with security rules. 

Keep logbook up to date and keep area pallets neatly arranged in queue areas and identify all jobs. 

Perform minor operator maintenance. 

Expected productivity of 20 sleeves or higher per hour (assuming no equipment problem or dry up); no more than 40 minutes for a die change.
