About the Job
The Machine Operator tends machines that cut corrugated sheets to specified dimensions.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading an assigned team in overall safety and production;
- Set-up print and mount on cylinder;
- Adjust folding rails;
- Put ink in print stations;
- Adjust glue patters;
- Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job;
- Maintain product conformance to box specifications;
- Oversee all quality checks during main operation; and
- All other duties as assigned
- Safety & Quality conscious individual;
- High attention to detail;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Basic computer skills;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
- Willingness to work: dependability with good attendance/punctuality;
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/production setting;
- Knowledge of the corrugated or paper setting preferred, but not required; and
- Experience leading a team preferred.
Starting pay $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on skills and experience. After a probationary period, pay may be reviewed. In addition to a competitive wage, we offer a comprehensive benefit package including paid-time off, medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k).
