Machine Operator - Day Shift - PrideStaff

Our client in Somerset, NJ is looking for a Machine Operator - Day Shift for temp-to-hire positions

Hours: 7am-7:15pm. Shifts are, for the most part, 2 days on 2 days off.

Pay is $20/hr.

Machine Operator Description:

• Set up machinery for operation
• Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Performs ongoing Quality Assurance Inspections-visual or functional
• Performs setups, changeovers, and PMs on lining machines
• Performs color changes and minor process adjustments
• Assists in mold changeover, mold setups and mold PMs.
• Responsible for proper formulations/blends of raw materials, colorants and regrind.
• Packs, seals, and properly identifies product

  Machine Operator  requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Proficiency in English – read, write, understand and speak fluently
• Ability to understand basic Quality Control methods
• Must possess eyesight capable of identifying imperfections in plastic molded parts and to distinguish color shade variations
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion or frequently.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
