About the Job
Adecco is currently seeking a Machine Operator II, in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Machine Operator II position, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years previous direct experience in manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator II will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. This position requires proficiency in machine setup, adjustments, troubleshooting and ensuring efficient production processes. The Machine Operator II is expected to follow safety guidelines, maintain quality standards, and adhere to company procedures.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator II:
• Use and understand standard and metric measuring systems.
• Set up, operate, and monitor various types of machines to produce parts or products according to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings, install tooling, and perform calibration to ensure optimal performance and output.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and address any defects or deviations.
• Diagnose and resolve machine issues or malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Report any major issues to the maintenance team.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the work area is safe, clean, and organized. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements of the Machine Operator II:
• 2-4 years of experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various machines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machine tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus!

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
