About the Job
Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $18-$25/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 12:30pm-8:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator for a company in St. Francis, WI. This is a contract to hire role. $1000 sign on bonus for 2nd shift.
Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work in a team environment to operate packaging equipment, ensuring continuous line production
- Responsible for the operation of equipment on continuous operating packaging lines, including rigid container filler, bulk fillers, vertical or horizontal pouch fillers, cartoners, labelers, cappers, jar unscramblers, sealers, checkweighers, scales, and metal detectors
- Make adjustments to the operating line to ensure continuous production
- Assist in line set ups with Setup Team Members
- Operate and provide support to other packaging lines
- Responsible for quality output
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to setup, troubleshoot, operate, disassemble, and clean equipment highly preferred
- Demonstrate a consistent work history and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Follow quality control guidelines and good manufacturing practices (GMP) to ensure a safe and quality product is produced
