MACHINE OPERATOR - Spherion

Now hiring for Machine Operator. Spherion of Massachusetts currently has Machine Operator opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Machine Operator will be working a 3rd shift with limited required OT. The Machine Operator will support our customers to operate and monitor extrusion machines to ensure efficient production Mon thru Fri. - Up to $22 per hour to start - depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operate and monitor extrusion machines to ensure efficient production
Set up machinery according to company specifications
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
Document production data and submit reports as needed
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Skills:
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be willing to train on 1st shift for six weeks

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Previous experience operating machinery; extrusion machine experience is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
