Machine Operator - Spherion

We are looking to hire for a Machine Operator position to operate a simple grinding machine-basic operation for a metal cutting manufacturing plant in Spanish Fork. The schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a starting wage of $19.50/hr. This is a long term position that can go permanent with the company after 3 months.

Responsibilities:
--Operate simple grinding machine-basic operation and machine set-up
--Read and follow blueprint specifications and instructions
--Grind tools, OD, point or V to specified sizes and measurements
--Measure tools using micrometers, calipers, and digital readouts

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
--Micrometer and caliper certified preferred
--Detail oriented
--Team player

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
--High school diploma or equivalent
--Perform simple math of adding and subtracting decimal equations
--Read and understand basic blueprints
