SCREENPRINT MACHINE OPERATOR:
THE OPPORTUNITY: Under the direction of the Screenprint Supervisor and Trainer, this position is responsible for processing screenprint orders through preparing garments, applying inks through use of screenprint press, and making quality adjustments as necessary. This position will lead the Unloader and provide first steps in quality control. The operator is responsible for changing screens and setting up/cleaning ink for specific orders, and operating the screenprint press to produce the best t-shirts in the biz. The operator will help verify garment quality and ink design to achieve company standards, and will wow our customers by meeting department and company goals.

- Analyze orders to confirm design, ink colors and placement
- Change/clean screens and ink for specific orders
- Unload shirts from platen
- Verify quality of clothing and ink design
- Change screens and ink for specific orders
- Follow company standards and work to achieve department goals
- Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
- Works actively with others to get the job done
- Other duties as assigned
Skills (qualifications) | Self-Motivated + Detail-Oriented + TEAM Player
- High school education desirable, but not required
- Tablet or computer experience preferred
- Ability to work well in a team
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
- Ability to be stand for 8-10 hours a day
- Previous production experience preferred, but not required
EMBROIDERY MACHINE OPERATOR:
THE OPPORTUNITY: Under the direction of the Embroidery Lead, this position is responsible for processing embroidery orders by preparing garments, running an embroidery and laser machine, and making quality adjustments as necessary. They will also be picking inventory for orders as well as performing quality control on each garment, to include: folding, labeling, boxing and counting garments, as well as recording styles and quantities of garments produced.

- Analyze orders to identify design and determine thread colors
- Change embroidery machine threads, including threading needles
- Attach hoops to the garments
- Access order specifications through computer spreadsheets
- Navigate through computer programs to process garment order on embroidery and/or laser machine
- Operate embroidery machine computer and laser machine
- Verify quality and quantity of the clothing and embroidery
- Maintain Zephyr & Lakeshirts acceptable standard of quality per garment
- Communicate with, or walk to, inventory area to gather replacement garments as needed
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Organize work flow
- Follow safety practices. Identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
- Work actively with others to get the job done
- Other duties as assigned
