SUMMARY:
Work collaboratively and safely within a manufacturing team to ensure high-quality, timely production. Responsibilities include equipment setup, inventory control, product inspection, and routine maintenance. Additional tasks involve interpreting process documents, training team members, handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining production records. Collaboration with engineering and product development teams is essential to meet customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives drawings, process prints, set-up sheets, and other written or verbal instructions.
- Sets up CNC machines or equipment in diversified operations such as machining, milling, turning, grinding, riveting as necessary to produce a completed product.
- Move or direct the movement of materials in the cell, as needed to produce a constant product flow.
- Requires the ability to interpret a variety of process prints and competently use the measuring devices provided as production gauging.
- Requires thorough knowledge of machine controls and operation.
- Need not be able to program, but knowledge of offset functions is necessary.
- Will perform production operations when not involved in other responsibilities.
- May perform machine operating and assembly as required.
- Adheres to all safety rules and report questionable conditions to department supervisor
- Apply, follow, and recommend Lean practices.
QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of CNC machines, CNC lathes & millers, material handling, other machines
- Ability to read micrometers, bore gages, other complex gauging
- Ability to make minor program edits
- Ability to maintain tooling or modify tooling as required
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling/programming problems on CNC equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to train others
