Job Summary: We are seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team in Dallas, NC. The successful candidate will oversee the manufacturing department, manage the team, maintain production schedules, and ensure quality standards are met. This role involves planning work, making assignments, training new employees, assisting in the hiring process, and enforcing organizational policies within the department. The Supervisor will also lead Cell meetings, coordinate improvement activities, implement corrective actions, and coach team leaders and operators. Additionally, they will gather and summarize performance data, complete employee reviews, and promote standard work practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years as a Manufacturing Supervisor
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Good time management and organization skills
- Excellent communication, team-building, and coaching abilities
- Knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes
