**Position Summary:**

We are looking for skilled and experienced Machine Shop Welders to join our team at United Trades of America. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in welding and fabrication, with a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role involves welding and assembling components to manufacture industrial chains.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform welding operations according to industry standards and client specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble components to produce industrial chains.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or GED; welding certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

**Working Conditions:**

- This position requires standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
