Machinist - First Tek, Inc.

Job Description: Tasks range from setting up and operating plain or universal, horizontal, or vertical milling machines to perform machining operations such as compound angles and contours; boring compound angular holes; doing helical and spiral milling; serrating; and gear, spine, and keyway cutting to exacting tolerances. May select, mount, and align various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling, plan sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; determine, set, and adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cut. Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations; and measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to Client out stock for machining. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures

Machinist will complete work across 3 different areas/buildings in Archbald, PA.

1-stock cutting saw
2-large Pracico wash station
3-burr bench work
4-High School Diploma (no degree required)


First shift hours: 5:30am-4:00pm Monday through Thursday, 4x10 schedule.
