Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate parts as needed of assigned jobs utilizing various types of machinery.
- Perform preventable and predictive maintenance for machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Write and maintain JSA.
- Complete weekly maintenance and repair logs
- Communicate with Supervisor and other employees.
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Clean and maintain work areas.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Read and understand blueprints for parts and pieces.
- Verify work piece dimensions, correct to acceptable tolerance criteria; use calibration and measuring instruments for final acceptance to criteria.
- Perform chip clean-up and other clean-up duties.
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
- Specialized training or 1 year of college
- High School Diploma
- 3 - 5 years machinist experience in a job shop or production environment required
- Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
