Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Can read blueprints
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.

Salary info:

$30 - $40 / hr
