Job Overview:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Follow procedures to make drill work more safe and effective.

·Observe pressure gauge and move throttles and levers in order to control the speed of rotary tables, and to regulate pressure of tools at bottoms of boreholes.

·Count sections of drill rod in order to determine depths of boreholes.

· Push levers and brake pedals in order to control gasoline, diesel, electric, or steam draw works that bore drilling collars with concentric bore.

·Maintain and adjust machinery in order to ensure proper performance.

' Understand and experienced in lengths up to 30 feet with various materials including Inconel.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Minimum 3-years of related experience

·         Must be capable of performing setups (after initial machine exposure)

·         Must have own hand tools

·         Working knowledge of RPM and Feed Rates for materials

SHIFT HOURS 7 AM-3 PM MONDAY-FRIDAY; SOME SATURDAYS TILL 1 PM               

PAY RANGE $18 to $24/hr. - long term home with no oilfield layoffs
