Mail Clerk
We are seeking a Mail Clerk for our client in the insurance industry. This role will provide leave coverage within the US Division Mail Services and is responsible for the effective operation of the Imaging and Fulfilment centers at their Boston location. The successful candidate will handle a variety of mail processing tasks and support business initiatives, with potential for long-term growth.

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
• Work Schedule (In-office): 8:00 am – 4:00 pm EST (May change to 7:30 am – 3:30 pm EST).

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage all incoming and outgoing mail for the US Division Mail Services, ensuring accurate handling, sorting, scanning, and indexing.
• Provide high-quality customer service and support to the Admin Group, adhering to service levels set by the business unit.
• Handle all aspects of incoming mail, including opening, prepping, scanning, and indexing, as well as managing outbound mail and couriers.
• Troubleshoot and process complex mail cases, including bulk mail, daily workflow, and related statistics.
• Train new employees in the Imaging and Fulfilment center.
• Cross-train across three departments: Statement, Imaging, and Fulfilment.
• Maintain attentiveness when handling sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII); cell phones are not permitted during work hours on the floor.
What you will need to succeed:
• College education preferred.
• 1 year of experience with imaging and indexing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for 4 hours a day.
• Previous experience working with mailing equipment, folder inserters, and postage meters is a plus.
• Experience with scanning, indexing, and mail sorting is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage change effectively.
