Job Summary:

Quantum World Technologies is urgently seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer for a contract position in Columbus, OH. This role requires the candidate to be onsite from Day 1 and involves immediate interview availability. The ideal candidate will have strong mainframe expertise to support, develop, and optimize mainframe applications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications in a large-scale environment
Perform troubleshooting and provide solutions for mainframe application issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
Optimize mainframe performance and enhance system reliability
Support migration, maintenance, and enhancements of existing mainframe systems


Requirements:


Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer, with expertise in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS)
Strong understanding of mainframe databases and data management
Familiarity with mainframe utilities, debugging tools, and batch processing
Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH from Day 1
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
