| Mainframe developers have the following roles and responsibilities:Perform system installations and modifications.Create test structures and gather/analyze data.Conduct risk assessments.Provide support for project requirements.Implement plans such as disaster recovery and interface layout.Troubleshoot issues.Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mainframe-based applications.Write code in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.Integrate systems and interact with infrastructureGood communicationAbility to get the requirements from businessDevelop the controls with specified requirementsShould adapt to customer release processCoordinate with offshore and USAA stake holder 100% deliverables ownership |
