We are GDIT. The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.  We are currently seeking a Mainframe Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Primary engineer to deliver all mainframe network requirements for the mainframe move.
• Primary engineer responsible for network communication and all categories of file transfers for mainframe.
• Maintain and configure all mainframe communication related products
• Responsible for installation and implementation of automation tools and techniques.  Create and maintain all automation rules to support systems requirements.

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience with expertise in the skills/duties:

Mainframe Session Management

Networking: FTP

Mainframe environment: JCL, OPS/MVS

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
