Job Description
- Test Planning: Creating and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure coverage of business requirements and technical specifications.
- Test Execution: Executing tests on Mainframe applications, including batch and online testing, to identify defects and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Defect Management: Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects, including collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
- Test Data Management: Creating and managing test data to support testing, including data validation and data masking.
- Test Environment Management: Setting up and maintaining test environments, including Mainframe configurations and dependencies.
- Minimum of 5 yrs of experience on Mainframe Testing.
- Knowledge in COBOL, ISPF, JCL, VSAM.
- Tools preferred are INSYNC, CONTROL-M & ENDEAVOR.
- Willing to work as an individual contributor
- Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing
- Ready to interact with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain complete and thorough understanding of the requirements.
- Ready to define functional test cases based on the technical design/functional design in a way that is comprehensive and verifies accuracy of developed features.
- Lead the remediation of defects and test closure report.
- Provide input toward code propagation and readiness for higher environments.
- Domain Banking Domain Knowledge (CORE Banking, LOC).
