What we are looking for:

+ High school diploma or equivalent



+ 0-5 years related experience



+ Ability to interpret customer needs through strong communication and listening skills.



+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments.



+ The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.



+ Solid ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.



+ Ability to write moderately complex reports and correspondence.



+ Good ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.



+ Solid ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.









Responsibilities:





+ This position, under direct to general supervision, is responsible for a variety of duties relating to the maintenance of the manufacturing buildings and grounds.



+ Performs routine maintenance tasks and repairs on facility systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. This includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting and general building upkeep. The technician will also support other facility operations and may assist with preventative maintenance programs.



+ Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, building systems, and physical structures to ensure proper operation and extend the life of equipment.



+ Perform general tasks such as painting, carpentry, replacing fixtures, and other basic building maintenance activities.



+ Maintain detailed records of repairs, equipment inspections, and preventative maintenance activities.



+ Address and resolve work order requests in a timely manner.



+ Be available to respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-hours if needed.



+ Work with the other team members and contractors to complete larger repairs and projects.



+ Conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
